General terms and conditions of Swim4all swim school. Please read carefully before registering.

1. Organising body

Swim4all swim school (hereafter: the Swim School), with offices at Uiterweg 251, 1431 AG Aalsmeer, is registered in the commercial register of the Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam under file number KVK 60979682.

VAT identification number: NL854147287B01.

The Swim School offers swim lessons at the following locations: Corendon Village Hotel (Badhoevedorp) and Swimming Pool De Waterlelie (Aalsmeer).

2. Swimming diploma requirements

The Swim School trains for the internationally recognised swimming diplomas A and B, in accordance with the ENVOZ guidelines.

2.1 Diploma A is the base diploma and requires the student to be able to swim independently and safely in accordance with current ENVOZ standards.

2.2 Diploma B builds on Diploma A and requires mastery of several swim strokes and water survival at an advanced level.

2.3 The moment a student takes the exam is determined by the instructor, based on the student's progress.

2.4 The Swim School uses small groups of up to 3 to 5 students per instructor, so each child receives optimal guidance.

3. Registration

3.1 Registration is done via the sign-up form on the website or, upon request, by email.

3.2 After receiving the registration, you will receive a confirmation by email. Registration is only final after payment of the registration fee.

3.3 The one-time registration fee is €25. This amount covers the administrative costs of registration. The registration fee is non-refundable.

3.4 A registration applies to one child. For multiple children, a separate registration must be made for each child.

3.5 The Swim School reserves the right to refuse a registration if capacity is reached or if the student is medically deemed unfit for swim lessons.

4. Payment & rates

4.1 The lesson fee is €120 per month and must be paid monthly in advance via direct debit or bank transfer.

4.2 The rates are reviewed annually and may be indexed. Changes will be communicated in writing or by email at least 1 month in advance.

4.3 In case of late payment, the Swim School reserves the right to suspend participation in lessons until the amount due has been paid.

4.4 A refund of already paid lesson fees is not possible, unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

4.5 No lessons are given and no lesson fees are charged during official school holidays (North Holland region).

If you go on holiday outside the official school holidays of the North region (as listed on our schedule), missed lessons must still be paid.

5. Absence & make-up lessons

5.1 Lessons missed by the student without involvement of the Swim School give no right to a refund or make-up lessons.

5.2 Any absence must be reported as soon as possible, but no later than 24 hours before the start of the lesson, by email or phone.

5.3 Only in the case of demonstrable long-term medical absence of more than four consecutive weeks — supported by a doctor's certificate — can payment be temporarily suspended in consultation.

5.4 The Swim School reserves the right to cancel a lesson due to force majeure. Cancelled lessons will be made up or refunded where possible.

6. Cancellation

6.1 Cancellation must be made in writing or by email to info@swim4all.eu, with a notice period of one calendar month.

6.2 This means that after the cancellation takes effect, you still owe lesson fees for the next full calendar month, during which your child can continue attending lessons.

6.3 Early cancellation due to relocation or medical reasons can be discussed in consultation.

7. Liability

7.1 The Swim School is not liable for loss, theft or damage to participants' property in or around the swim facility.

7.2 The Swim School is not liable for personal injury of participants, unless there is demonstrable gross negligence or intent on the part of the Swim School or its employees.

7.3 Participants (or their parents/guardians) are themselves responsible for providing relevant medical information that may affect the lessons.

8. Privacy

8.1 The Swim School processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

8.2 Personal data is used solely for the execution of the agreement and is not shared with third parties without the consent of the data subject.

8.3 You have the right at any time to access, correct and delete your personal data. Requests can be submitted via info@swim4all.eu.

8.4 For more information, please see our full privacy policy.
